Prosecutors in Milwaukee County have charged 39-year-old Timothy Taylor in a shooting on Oct. 8 near 42nd and Good Hope that left one woman dead and another wounded.
The woman who died was 20-year-old Amaya Walls. Family members identified the wounded woman as her aunt.
Taylor faces first-degree intentional homicide, attempted first-degree intentional homicide, two counts of bail jumping and a misdemeanor battery charge with a domestic abuse modifier, according to a criminal complaint summary.
The complaint says Walls had contacted police about a domestic incident earlier that same day, hours before the shooting was reported.
Court records show a warrant has been issued for Taylor's arrest. He was not in custody as of Oct. 14, and no booking photo is available.
